5 Ways That Will Motivate You To Go To The Gym

Ask me if you know that exercise is good for your health. You will all know the importance of exercise, I am sure. Even though all of this is known, very few people exercise.

Laziness is the biggest reason people don’t exercise or go to the gym. Many of us are too lazy to get out of bed in the morning. This is due to your lack of interest. Imagine that tomorrow morning at 5 AM, Amitabh Bachchan, ji, will be coming to you. In this scenario, you will wake up at 4 AM in all cases. These are the times I can’t fall asleep.

You will see that this entire game is interesting if you pay attention. It will not make you lazy to go to a match of cricket, visit a friend in the morning, or do any other work that interests you. It’s amazing, isn’t it? The question is, how do you get people to exercise or go to the gym?

You can either make a friend to be a partner in the gym or do something else instead. As I enjoy badminton, Any sport is great for improving your fitness. It will be easier to get up if you know what you must do each morning to play badminton, or another favorite sport.

2. Create inspirational posters

Sometimes, it is difficult to exercise due to poor moods or personal reasons. These tips will help you in such situations:

  • You can use a motivational song as your alarm ringtone. I’ve used the title song from Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s movie Ab Tu Bhaag Milkha to set my alarm tone. This song is so beautiful that it fills me with joy every time I hear it. You can also pick the song you like and set the alarm tone. You will also find many apps for this.
  • I have a lot of motivational posters that I have pinned to my wall.

The elders will have told you many times that it is important to surround yourself with good people. This is something I completely agree with. You can only be yourself if you live with others. You can start a WhatsApp group to encourage the habit of exercising. Find people who exercise regularly and have the time to do it. These people will motivate you. These people can offer advice whenever you need it.

These friends will encourage you to exercise daily and to go to the gym. You will never be able to stop being lazy if you stay with four lazy friends.

4. Give yourself a reward.

You can’t do it all in one day. Regardless of how much you make progress, it will take time. It is important to celebrate even the smallest successes. You can break down your goals into smaller action items if you wish. Keep celebrating when you reach your short-term goals. Goals were something I used to do when I first started exercising. For example, if I lose five kilograms, I will purchase my favorite game. This is something you can also do. This will encourage you to get to the gym and exercise.

5. Don’t Set Over-ambitious Goals

My goal when I joined the gym was to get a six-pack. It seemed impossible to do it in two months. But I soon realized that it was too ambitious. After three months, I was still far from my goal. I was disappointed and lost motivation to exercise.

It is important to set goals but make sure they can be achieved. You will feel more accomplished if you have an achievable goal. This will increase your motivation.

Once you have achieved your initial goals, you should set more realistic goals to ensure that you can continue working towards them.
